Web chat widget

The chat widget works on Open Doors sites and funnels, and any external site (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow) via a one-line script.

   Settings → Chat Widget → New

   Configure colours, greeting, and prompts.

   Set the intake questions

   Name, email, and phone are common. Add a "How can we help?" field.

   Copy the embed code

   One <script> tag. Paste before </body> on the pages you want it.

   Test

   Visit the page in an incognito tab; send a test message; confirm it lands in Conversations.

SMS handoff

Enable "SMS handoff" so if the visitor leaves the page, the conversation continues by SMS. This is the single-highest-leverage toggle in the widget.
