Out-of-office auto-replies

Set per-channel auto replies with quiet hours.

An auto-reply is a workflow that fires on the "Inbound message received" trigger. Build separate ones for out-of-hours, weekends, and holidays.

Common pattern

  1. 1
    Automation → New Workflow → Inbound Message Received
    Pick the channel(s).
  2. 2
    Add a condition: current time outside business hours
    Or day is a holiday in your custom list.
  3. 3
    Send auto reply
    "Thanks, we’re offline until 8am. We’ll reply then."
  4. 4
    Do not loop
    Add a 4-hour "already sent auto reply" tag check so rapid inbound messages do not trigger multiple replies.
