Add an opportunity

Three ways to create an opportunity: manually, from a contact, or automatically via a workflow.

From the pipeline board

    Open the right pipeline
    Switch with the dropdown at the top.

    Click "+ Add" on the first stage
    A side panel slides in.

    Pick or create a contact
    Search by name, email, or phone. New contact details are saved to the CRM at the same time.

    Set the value, owner, and source
    These power your reporting later.

    Save
    The card appears on the board and the contact gets a note added to their timeline.

From a contact record

Open the contact, scroll to the Opportunities widget, and click "Add Opportunity." The contact is pre-filled, so you only need pipeline, stage, value, and owner.

From a workflow

Use the "Create / Update Opportunity" action in any workflow. Pair it with a form-submitted trigger and you have inbound leads landing on the board automatically.
