Smart lists

Saved filters that update themselves as contacts qualify in or out.

A smart list is a saved filter on your contacts. Unlike a static CSV export, it updates in real time as contacts change — so "customers with no activity in 90 days" is always accurate.

Build one

    Open Contacts
    Click the filter icon.

    Add filter conditions
    Combine on tags, custom fields, last activity, attribution, Pipeline AI stage, etc.

    Preview
    The contact count updates live as you change filters.

    Save as smart list
    Give it a name. It appears in the sidebar and can be opened with one click.

Use smart lists for

  • Triggering bulk campaigns — pick the smart list, send.
  • Dashboard KPIs — "active customers this month."
  • Workflow audience — "fire this workflow for everyone in this list, daily."
  • CSV exports — smart list → export keeps the criteria.
