Saved filters that update themselves as contacts qualify in or out.

A smart list is a saved filter on your contacts. Unlike a static CSV export, it updates in real time as contacts change — so "customers with no activity in 90 days" is always accurate.
Build one
- 1Open ContactsClick the filter icon.
- 2Add filter conditionsCombine on tags, custom fields, last activity, attribution, Pipeline AI stage, etc.
- 3PreviewThe contact count updates live as you change filters.
- 4Save as smart listGive it a name. It appears in the sidebar and can be opened with one click.
Use smart lists for
- Triggering bulk campaigns — pick the smart list, send.
- Dashboard KPIs — "active customers this month."
- Workflow audience — "fire this workflow for everyone in this list, daily."
- CSV exports — smart list → export keeps the criteria.
