A contact is one record per person. Every conversation, opportunity, invoice, appointment, and note attaches to that record. Email and phone deduplication runs automatically on every create and import.

Anatomy of a contact

  • Identity — name, email, phone, company, address.
  • Tags — binary labels for segmentation.
  • Custom fields — any data unique to your business.
  • Timeline — every interaction, ordered newest first.
  • Pipeline AI — opportunities this contact is linked to.
  • Tasks — open and completed to-dos.
  • DND — channels this contact has asked you to stop using.
  • Attribution — source, medium, campaign, first and last touch.
