Time zones in Open Doors work on three levels: workspace, user, and contact. Understanding the hierarchy avoids confusion when your team is distributed.
| Level | Used for |
|---|---|
| Workspace | Default for reports, scheduled sends, and any record without a user-specific setting. |
| User | Each team member’s own calendar and notification timing. Override in Profile. |
| Contact | Stored per contact when known. Used to pace SMS and email so they arrive at a sensible local hour. |
Language
The Open Doors UI ships in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, and Arabic. Pick in Profile. Default email and SMS templates localise automatically; custom templates stay in the language you wrote them.
